Who we are

Coachd is a UK platform that helps people find and book personal development, career and leadership coaches. For the purposes of UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Coachd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at hello@getcoachd.co.uk.

What we collect

Coachees joining the waitlist: your name, email address and your answers to our short questionnaire (coaching areas, coaching experience, how often you would like to meet and budget comfort).

Coaches joining the waitlist: your name, email address, accreditation, specialist coaching areas, qualifications and years of coaching experience.

We do not collect payment details at this stage.

How we use your data

To manage the waitlist and contact you about the launch of Coachd, including your 15% off first session offer and the free 6 session coaching package prize draw.

To match coachees with suitable coaches when the platform launches, and to review coach applications.

To understand demand and improve our service.

Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing your data

We never sell your data. We only share it with trusted service providers who host and run our website and database on our behalf, under appropriate data protection terms. Some providers may process data outside the UK, in which case we rely on approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until the platform launches and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you create an account or ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Email hello@getcoachd.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We only use cookies and similar storage that are essential for the website to work. We do not use advertising cookies.
